I just got back from taking the exam. My huge word of caution and I spoke to the testing center about this, they have heard the same complaint the last few months. There isn't enough time to take the exam. This has been an issue for the last couple of months now. If you get caught on a question, as Brendan says, move on. You really do not have time to try and figure it out. Flag it and if there is time go back and answer it.

Hey folks important heads up! (without NDA issues.) PLEASE find out if your test center uses current official Certiport/Gmetrix software for the test. The great examples that we see here are not on all (cheaper basic) exams. There were VERY vague questions that took me forever to just figure out what they wanted, & i use advanced level Excel every day and still studied hard! I just took the test and i barely passed with 700. When i took the 2007 at a true Certiport/G computer testing center I got well over 900. Also, if you are used to the professional (or Pro plus) ribbon and seeing functions in certain areas, you may not see them if they use the basic test software . Study the REGULAR 2016 ribbon! AND KNOW THOSE ICONS. I missed a question that i use every day all day because im used to my ribbon showing tons of functions. (i use PowerPivot and DAX but not good enough for EXPERT). hope this helps someone.

Hi Brendan. I wanted to know, is it mandatory to know the shortcut hotkeys for the exam? Are they going to ask us to complete a task using them and be graded on it?

And when i say study those icons, They won't (may not) be labeled as "remove duplicates" or "conditional formatting" etc- you will have to know what the icon looks like. That was my error, i was used to the labeled /words and never paid attention to the actual icon. so please know those!
