Hi, Dr. Snipes! I hold a Bachelors degree in psychology and a minor in counseling with a focus in Addiction services (which cuts the supervised hours to 1500 instead of 4000 I believe) at least here in Nevada. Do you know if your Addiction Counselor certification would help me to secure a job. The board for Addiction Counselor here in Nevada requires the supervised hours to be certified as a CDAC I or CDAC but without experience it's been hard for me to secure even an internship. I would appreciate any advice:) Thank you!
