Favorite animal by far... possibly the most misunderstood animal in the world

They also can taste with the suckers on their tentacles.
Which means that if an octopus is holding on to a rock and reaches out with 4 arms to take a piece of shrimp out of your hand, it’s simultaneously tasting the rock, the ocean water, your hand, and the shrimp.
Yet it doesn’t get overwhelmed with all of that and is able to find the shrimp based on taste _and_ feel, grab it (often with the middle of its arm, not the end like a cartoon might depict), and put it in its mouth.
It also might be simultaneously feeling your hand to see if you have more shrimp, lol.
