I’m grateful y’all are out there doing this..I started getting my Walmart groceries delivered a year ago, , and I live one block from the store. I retired last year and just don’t enjoy driving much anymore…or going out by myself. Bravo to everyone that does this..y’all rock.

I primarily do spark as a side job. I'm rural WI, so there's only 1 store in the zone. Most of my deliveries are 15-18miles and 15-25 minutes away, but it is primarily 55mph highway miles, which are much faster, more consistent and efficient, as well as easier on me and the car than city driving. Average order is $25-35, with customer tips ranging from pennies to over $20 with some very generous folks. I've done it in madison, and it was busier but much lower pay due to 1-3 mile distances with 5 walmarts in the zone. I averaged, with incentives, around $40/hr on good days, $15 on bad days with low order volume. I can still make pretty good profit with my 16mpg 08 f150 when my wife has to use my 2017 Subaru Legacy.

In my market, absolutely. I do both curbside and shopping orders. Yes, my acceptance rate is in the 25-35% range but I still get good/great offers. I have to reject heavy item orders due to torn rotator cuffs in both shoulders. I'm in my 60's and use this primarily for my social activities, including travel. I may be older but I'm not dead yet. And a bonus is a bonus. I take what makes sense.

I like doing spark early in the morning during the week from 6-9 am, I normally get 3-4 orders, then I'll do door dash in the evening after work from 8-11. Weekend I'll do spark in the morning as well and either grab a3-4 hr Flex route since my area only has them from 3-5 pm and I can door dash after.

spark is good in my market. lots of changes recently but i think its for the better. checking id once in a while actually counting items is fine w me if it helps them weed out the riff raff.

I tend to get more offers on Spark than DD. So I spark durning the day and then DD for the dinner rush.

I have so many walmarts in my area that my AR is usually low because it doesn't make sense to drive across town for one order. I will say I do enjoy doing walmart orders though because I can make more money doing less trips than on apps like doordash. The incentives can be great if you pay attention to the fine print lol.

It seems to be my bigger/ primary money maker in my market, but I'm also strategic with changing zones if needed, and I use other apps as fillers since those are fewer and lesser paying. So slightly different than what you recommend but with the same goals and outcomes.

Also I rarely wait longer than 10 minutes for pick up orders and I only take shopping orders that meet my preferred metrics (number of items, dollars to miles, store that is stocked, day of the week determines if it's too crowded in the store, location of drop off good area/apartments, etc...)

I like your content but this video shows that you do not understand the Spark platform and how it works.
The incentive you are showing at like 7:28 is a really good one. That is for the whole zone you are in and not a specific store. If it is for a certain store it will give you the number of the store. Every trip in that zone counts regardless of what Walmart, Sam's or other store on the platform.

Spark is by far the best app to make money on around here, but you have to know how it works.
If you want to make serious money you have to be at the store for the round robin drops. It is not crucial at busy times as you can be anywhere and get a banger offer. During slow days it is critical to be in the lot for RR drops.
I consistently get 40-70 dollar curbsides on the drop, but you are going to have a 15-20 mile drive most times and 3 customer drop offs. That means you can only realistically hit the drop every 2 hours, but that is when you hit up DD/UE or whatever to fill the gap.
On a slow day I can do $180-$250 or so on Spark and another $50-100 on food.
Spark is not a filler app, food delivery is.

Spark is good in my market. I usually make sure the drop off location takes me nearby another Walmart or Sams Club. I use Uber Eats and DD as filler aps or at times to connect orders with Spark.

It’s different here in Colorado, we don’t get first come first serve anymore. And they changed pick up times to be staggered. For example curbside offers go out at 38 after the hour but the first check in time is 50 then 55, top of the hr and 5 mins after. Which really sucks cause you’re sitting there waiting to check in. Same for prescription pick up they are scheduling 20-25 minutes in The future. And now we are getting a lot of high item double shops for little pay and higher miles. And during the week they have scheduled times they realease shops instead of when they come in. It has been getting worse and worse here in our town. Oh and they took away the tipping function for the ebt peoples orders. My friend called and asked spark how they can tip and was told that isn’t an option for ebt peoples orders! Say what! I can’t drive to them and back and pick a weeks worth of groceries for $12. And we do live in small town so we do come back to the same Walmart.

If door dash is slow and I have not met my daily goal I then turn on spark to try and get me to my daily goal

Are the people at Walmart supposed to load the vehicle for you? We’ve had several complaints here in the Washington DC area where they will not load the vehicle for you.
