Carron Montgomery is an award-winning author, licensed professional counselor, registered play therapist, and Level II EMDR-certified trauma specialist. She is currently completing Level I IFS-informed EMDR training and pursuing ADHD-CSP certification.

With over 20 years of experience, Carron specializes in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, trauma, and grief, collaborating with caregivers, educators, and medical professionals. A passionate advocate for mental health, she developed The Invisible Riptide series, which has won the Mom’s Choice Gold Award and 2024 Book of the Year from Creative Child Magazine.

Her upcoming graphic novel, to be released in November 2024, explores the impact of social media on kids and tweens. Carron regularly speaks to organizations and provides tools to support emotional health.
