Super helpful. I was reading a book intended for those with minimal VC knowledge and it didn't make clear that the mechanism behind how non-partipating shares adopt a role was simply choice. It ran through examples of payout numbers, but only examples that involved high valuation growth and so I couldn't confirm this using patterns. That was quite the oversight they made 😅
