Guys don't argue, it's great peice of engineering, and was made as interceptor for airdefence purposes (check history of developing). It ain't fighter jet, it just needs high velocity and altitude, like a fast reusable missile.
As a man of science myself, i proud of scientists and constructors, who made this plane

P.S. Also it had roles of bomber and reconnaissance bomber after modernization

The F-15 can go Mach 2.5 so it doesn’t make a lot of since to not add MIG-25 it’s direct counterpart

This would be a great opportunity to make a "what if" MiG-25 Variant, maybe for an april fools update along with other "what if" vehicles. It would be a theoretical variant, one made with minor adjustments to its design, like using a titanium alloy instead of the heavy nickel-steel one, slapping it better avionics and tweaking the engines a bit so they don't fucking explode while going mach 3.
