This is a beautiful poem for solidarity and hope. Hope for Life. You know the facts... Damn' what a sensitive poet Phil was! This reminds me of Lemmy on tv, when he gave the most affectionate and sensible advice to a pregnant minor girl turn runaway. On another note, Eric's solo is like the sonic translation of Phil's words. I discovered this album in 77, at 14, having heard them for the 1st time the year prior, with JBreak and then JTFox, but only on the FM Rock Stations, down here in PT. Thin Lizzy are not exactly ''massively'' popular in Portugal, but there is a cult, a connection, like Celtic Soul Brothers, where Van Morrison, Thin Lizzy, Rory Gallagher/Taste, Horslips, The Undertones, The Pogues or Primordial all play an important role, as far as our national perception of Celtic Irish Rock/Folk music should be concerned ( and it often is !). Lusitania and Callecia, as you may infer, ancient Celtic Iberian ''nations'' - that would explain a lot. Sorry 'bout the lengthy rap, but this is a very big song!
