Remember when the Giga was being talked up as the big new enemy but got roughly over 10 mins while the rest of the movie was about giant locusts?

I feel the Giga wasn’t even a villain it was an animal being an animal, but they tried.

They took the world’s largest carnivore and made a movie completely free of any suspense

There was enough plot armor in that reunion scene to build 2 battleships.

I wish there wasn't so many moments of them escaping harm and then stop for a breather only 6 feet away. It really takes the danger out of the whole movie. They are always way too close but no consequence

The Giganatosaurus has more screen time in the extended cut of the film. And yet, it still doesn't feel like enough somehow. It's got no purpose other than to be a rival for rexy to fight.

Giganotosaurus looks like a gentle giant, its feel like it wasn't even trying its best, just minding their own business 😢

These movies are faithful to palaeontology and science like the Fast and Furious is to engineering and racing

The giga was the only theropod that behaved naturally like an apex predator, fighting for it's territory.
The design of the Giga is just a Chef's kiss 🥹

i felt major Dino Crisis 2 vibes at that station scene with the giga and all the fire.

“What is that..?”
Grant turned, eyes dead on the Goliath of a predator, “Giganotosaurus. Calmest Carnivore the world has ever seen.”

They fail to make the biggest carnivore on land.
In the reunion scene, it was supposed to be a life and dead situation. This is one of the reasons why I like Jurassic Park more than Jurassic World

The Giga was kind of chill. They did him dirty in the end

I swear the giga just wanted to be friends with the gang. He wasn’t even trying to hunt them, granted, they can’t see what’s in front of them apparently.

It's amazing how JP makes the Rex lose against every large carnivore when the Rex was probably the most suitable for one vs one combat to the death. The jaw pressure would make it break bone with impunity, the Giganotosaurus had more blade like teeth which is indicative of a bite that would cause heavy bleeding over time. I think once the Rex locked those jaws it would be over for a Spino or a Giga, but I also understand that it would greatly depend on the experience, age and size of the Dinosaurs in question. Just sad to see such a perfect predator losing every big screen fight it has. The Indominus I can understand, but at least give Rexy a win over the Spino or Giga!
