Death on the Road is a live DVD released by the British heavy metal band Iron Maiden on 6 February 2006. The album was recorded at Westfalenhalle in Dortmund, Germany on 24 November 2003, during the Dance of Death World Tour (2003--2004).

I never understood why people would go to concerts being so far away from the stage they'd had a better view watching it at home, but this, not any songs of my absolute favorite band, Evanescence, no, this song, made me realize why. No matter how far you are, it's incredible to be part of the crowd. I can feel it almost as if I was there, and oh my god I wish I was there. I hope I'll get to see them live at least once in my lifetime, and I'm not even a hardcore fans, I love a couple songs but never went too deep in it (I should, I know, but there are SO MANY legendary metal bands to explore), but I know it would be one of the best nights of my life.

understand these guys created this masterpiece about 30 years ago, if there's noone to beat them, I will. Goosebumps all over my skin, stunning, unbelievable skill. Message to myself: Do it before you can't do it anymore. I want to rush all over the stage, singing my heart out, grab the guitar from my team mate, continue a freaking awesome guitar solo and then sing my next phrase and chorus alongside this awesome vibe. As if it wasn't the dream of everyone else.
