I've bought 6 day pass including holiday access and that worked out great. 6 days is plenty for me and did everything I wanted to do for about $80 per day. Can't beat it. Full pass only makes sense at 10 days or so. I couldn't afford that many hotel days, lol

I think people should keep In mind is overestimating your days is not a bad idea, at least for some of you. If you don’t buy enough days you’re going to get burned after a day or 2 extra. Just make sure if you’re cost with day passes is just $30 less then say an epic local, is having that extra flexibility worth $30? Also good vid.

I ended up getting a couple days worth of epic day passes this year. Was really considering a full epic or ikon pass because I’m 5-6 hours from vail, Jackson hole, big sky, park city, etc. just far enough to where I can definitely make a couple trips, but can’t really justify more trips than that. Gonna get a season pass to my local mountain and spend most of my time there

Last year I bought a Keystone Plus and then somehow got a free upgrade to Summit Value when we realized we'd only be going during holiday times. Definitely was worth it.

IMO doing this much planning and this far in advance is not worth it just to save possibly a few hundred dollars. I would rather buy a pass than buy day passes and end up needing more. The price of the day pass packages also significantly increase closer to the snow season. These price comparisons are only good if you know exactly what your plans are for next season RIGHT NOW.

This kind of strategy works if you are going to ski a few days in holiday at destination resort ONLY. If I buy a 7 day tier-2 pass for $459 to ski 2 holidays, I'll need a $555 North East Value pass for my weekend day trip which accounts for 8-10 days every season. that will be stupid because it's more expensive than a full pass. I think everybody already knows how to use day passes.

Easy answer buy an Australian epic pass. Get most of the benefits you need at a much cheaper price
