Quickbooks interface keeps changing every 6 months. Making it really time consuming to figure out where it is located

What are your recommended software alternatives? Civil contractors, certified payroll, bonded projects.

Hey, Im a general contractor that runs 3-4 larger new construction projects per year. I get 1 invoice per month from the developer, and have to pay all my subcontractors. I have a holdback for each subcontractor and want to be able to make progress payment invoices. What software would you recommend?
