Hey Reg ! I’m an Arborist with 30 yrs under my belt aswell and I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my spurs for being the person you are. If there was one person I could pick to meet off of YouTube it would be yourself. Much respect tree brother from Ontario Canada 🇨🇦

Awesome scenery Reg. Let me know if you ever come back to the UK. Be good to catch up ol' buddy. All's going well here in Wales.

Well for sure you can add Mountain Goat to your List of Abilities ! I was actually expecting you to run to the edge and jump with one of those flying squirrel suits on ! 😂

Beautiful country. Wonderful expedition. Some hairy spots. Lots of trail erosion. Enjoyed the video. I love the outdoors. I've been a licensed outdoor guide (NY & TN) for over 30 years (work trees on the side) specializing in Fly Fishing and Upland Bird Hunting (Adventure Guide Service). I've had many adventures hiking & guiding in the Adirondack Mts. Fly Fishing mountain streams for brookies. I liked the short shot of the ptarmigan running the rocks. You have a love of the outdoors....👍.

Holy moly... single walking up that high got scary as the sun went down.
Absolutely beautiful trees/rocks and sky.
And the flowing water is a wonderful sound.
The only thing missing in this video is bare feet in the water or on the ice.
But to make it to the summit by sundown, no time for lollygagging...👍
A truly glorious experience.
Descending that tiny trail looks like a rough hike.
Thanks for bringing fear, awe and wonderment to my tiny phone screen in the safety of my shack in the hollow. 💚

Nearly 7, 000 ft. Reg ...with lots of gear. Out of breath just watching!
Hope you had enough water overnight on the summit.
Sketchy decent too, with lots of loose gravel. 😳
Smart to camp rather than even a partial decend in darkness.
Thanks for taking us along! 👍

That's like two Snowdon and a Pen y Fan in one go. You must have been shattered.

Nice one, I'd love to see Canada one day. Looks amazing

Many people who do something for a living will avoid similar environment when on free time. It's a pretty clear sign that you're in the right kind of job when free time means going back to places that look a lot like the office. In the Rockies, at this time of year it's not uncommon to find bears well above the treeline, looking for moth larvae. I've seen grizzlies twice, far above the treeline. I wonder if the same thing happens with black bears on the island. Cool to see a ptarmigan. I loved climbing alone.

Good on you Reg. Can take that trip off your list now. Thanks for sharing as brought back memories of my younger years in mining exploration tramping around northern BC and Yukon mts. I can still hear the mosquitoes.
