Just a note that when the question asks for the co-ordinates of the crossing points, it's best to give the full co-ordinate, ie (0, -3/2) not just the individual x or y value which you have calculated.

great video but i thought you we're supossed to square the -1, hence ; 4[(x + 1)^2 (-1)^2] +3

why didn't you pull out 4x when factorising it? then you would have 4x(x+2)+3
