20 year-old Branson Perry wandered from his home in the small, drug-infested town of Skidmore, Missouri in 2001. More than twenty years later, the search for him continues, despite a mysterious link to a convicted felon and Presbyterian Minister who was caught performing illegal gender reassignment surgeries in hotel rooms, and cannibalizing his patients genitalia. Over time, local townies are starting to change their story regarding what they know about Branson's disappearance, and police are convinced somebody knows the truth.

So, let me get this straight... The neighbor that sexually assaulted Branson disappeared for two weeks before randomly popping back in? Did something else in this story disappear for two weeks after Branson vanished and then magically turn up again? Yes! The jumper cables.... My money is on the neighbor! Did they ever look deeper into the neighbor? Where is he now?

I live actually 15 minutes from Skidmore. This case is always so sad. Bobbie Jo is Branson’s cousin. It’s like told that Skidmore is haunted. There’s been reporting as of a young kid walking the streets of Skidmore.

I’m glad you covered another case from Missouri. This one is super bizarre. I also highly recommend that you cover the Hailey Owens murder case from my hometown of Springfield, MO. It’s one of the few crimes that truly changed our city.

Not only did the two crimes you mentioned happen in skidmore, but a crime about 35 (?) years ago i volvong a town bully. There was a documentary done about it. Shot in broad daylight, but no one saw a thing.

There is actually 3 major cases from Skidmore, Mo. There is the story of the town bully that was killed in the middle of town with basically the whole town watching. No one would admitt to who did it. You should look into it. It's a crazy case. So much tragedy in such a small town.

This case is definitely bizarre,

I believe that guy who got arrested in 2003 had murdered Branson since he mentioned about the guy hitchiking he picked up who matched Branson's description around the time of his disappearance and he probably have ties with the people at the house that got burned down in 2009.

You should cover the case about Claire Hills who was a woman who got knocked unconscious and had her car set alight in New Zealand and it's been unsolved for 24 years.

What if his friend (Jenna) did it.. like maybe the whole "cleaning the house" thing wasn't something Bransen asked her to help with but her excuse so to speak. Like she kills him, hides his body, cleans up the house, showers to clean herself, then leaves. Then claims he asked her to help clean so the police won't find any evidence and also aren't suspicious why they didn't find evidence or why the house looked recently cleaned up.

And then the jumper cables story was just an excuse she made up so it looked like he just vanished then and showing she didn't have eyes on him the entire time.

And it wouldn't be abnormal for her to be there since they were so close so the mechanics wouldnt have had a concern and neither would the community if she was the one who put the jumper cables back

For cases of missing people that go back 10 or 20 years or further, I know forensics have come a long way especially since the 2000s but I get a heavy feeling they'll be found dead somewhere after being gone for so long. Back in the 80s he would've been labeled a runaway and the cops probably would've blamed and shamed him for the incident with Jason..

Actually there were 2 Unsolved Cases.... The First was Ken Rex Mcelroy (The Town Bully), the 2nd was Branson Perry.

Wow. I have no idea. I think the theory that he went to the drug house where things went south and was killed seems plausible. I don’t believe in coincidences. Interesting that the house burned down soon after

Another theory I have is drug related. Maybe he was starting to use meth which is why he told jenna he would be right back. He would go to the meth house, get a quick fix as he was cleaning the house. Meth is suppose to work similar to cocaine such as providing energy, HOWEVER. I think it could he quite possible that he passed away due to smoking meth, cocaine and meth are pick me ups, indicating they give you energy, and speed up the heart. Now he already had a heart condition that made his heart rate fast to begin with so im thinking if/when he used meth it causes his heart to beat so fast and irregular and could've caused some sort of cardiac failure. Not sure, just going out on a whim but could very well be possible. And since it was a drug house they arent going to call the cops or ambulance because they dont want to get in shit so probably figured get rid of the body and dispose of evidence.

I think it was the neighbour .. I'm wondering if he was blackmailing Branson by maybe doing drug runs for him or something and Branson had had enough and was going to reveal the truth and so he killed him.
