Steps of getting CHAS Certification:
To get CHAS certification, a company must go through a three-stage process:
Application:
The first step is to complete an application form on the CHAS website. The form asks for basic information about the company, such as its name, address, and contact details.
Assessment:
Once the application has been submitted, the company will undergo an assessment of its health and safety policies and procedures. This assessment is carried out by a CHAS assessor, who will review documentation such as risk assessments, training records, and accident records.
Certification:
If the company meets the required standards, it will be awarded CHAS certification. The certification is valid for one year, after which the company will need to undergo a renewal assessment to maintain its certification.
