I could never hate Joel in fact I admire him so much. Him gone hurts me up to this day 💔😭 I understand why he did what he did he's human and it’s hypocritical for anyone out there to judge him. For a long time he was just surviving but with Ellie he actually lived. Putting him in a position where he has to lose a daughter once again is just too much for him it doesn't make what he did right but I truly do understand him 😭

Ellie was very ungrateful. He could have left her to die, but he loved her like a daughter and he didn't do that. Then she “took revenge” on Abby not because she loved Joel but out of remorse for showing ingratitude to him. Poor Joel...

The thing is that the problem isn't the infection...the infected..the game shows us that people are worse than infected...even if Ellie sacrificed herself it wouldn't change anything because humans can't help each other, love each other and live in peace.. everyone thinks about themselves and thats the problem..few think about getting into others persons boots and understand their pain..
