Brilliant and beautiful. I absolutely adore the storytelling through simple designs and gentle concepts. Our Ancient Cosmic Creation story ❤

1:50 I don't remember the lecturer, but an excellent argument has been made that oxygenation was only superficially a catastrophe for anaerobic life. Because in the long run, the new oxygen based regime created way more niches for anaerobic life to exploit. So, the "anaerobic catastrophe" was more about global homogeny, while anaerobic species themselves actually diversified and firmly established themselves throughout Earth's biosphere (and complex life would be in trouble without them.)

Very nice video. However, I do believe this cooperation started even earlier, at the molecular level. Different molecules cooperated to carry out certain functions or to become auto reproducible, then creating a community of functional molecules able of performing different tasks that we now call "the cell".

This is Ted quality like and has only 14k views… totally underrated

Here's an interesting point. When that first mitochondria was absorbed by that other larger cell, normally it would've been consumed. So why was it not? In order for it to survive, the large cell had to know something of the benefit of the mitochondria provided. After all, it's entire process's were designed to consume what it swallowed. Puzzling.

Was it chance or the inherent potential found in living systems? Billy

Good!, scientifically simplified the animation.
Similar cooperation is now expected for carbon dioxide fixation.
Better hope for clean environment.

So where did the bigger cell get the energy to absorb the smaller mitochondrion cell, if most of its energy comes from mitochondria ?

Any idea what technique has been used for making this video?!

Nice vedio. I think cooperation is much earlier at the level of subatomic particle. When itis not clear itis matter or energy. The fittness became more and more advanced. Who knows may be some day even cross our universe. Itis purely my thought. Not read or see from any source.
