Just in case no one here knows The Outer Limits has a Story S2 E1 called Soldier the plot is very similar to The Terminator.

A genetically engineered Soldier from a future post apocalypse travels through time and lands in the 1960s.

This would make a definite killer cult flick with those interposed steam punk and cyborg characters. Ideally it would use a sepia tone film, Fritz Lang jerk action, and oscillating soft and high definition focus. Shooting should be dark stage with intermingled strobe effect action. The plot and counter plot should be edgy and draw audiences constantly onto the brink with the grittiness of the story. Ideally it would combine elements of The Watchmen, Terminator, Bladerunner, and most of all the original Metropolis.
