GREP in InDesign: Grouping and Manipulating Found Text

Показать описание
Once you find a pattern of text using GREP in InDesign, you can add information to the found text, or even delete portions of or re-arrange that text. To do that, you'll first need to break the GREP search into groups.

Let me know what other types of things you want me to talk about. Leave me a comment or a question below or find me on social media (links below).

Thanks Erica. Perfectly explained. This video alone has saved me tens of minutes in a single InDesign document today.

Is there a listing of GREP commands available anywhere online?

Just learning about GREP. I was sent a Word file and the creator put when he wanted bold type to begin and
when he wanted the bold to go back to plain. I can download it to InDesign CS5 but I don't know how to build a GREP to automatically change the type within the symbols to bold. It is a huge file and really don't want to have to change it manually!
Help!
