One of the best scenes I've seen in a very long time! Absolutely brilliant work!

The song is Oh! Sweet Nuthin' by The Velvet Underground.

How people thought the solar eclipse was gonna end

Legit a contender for one of the best visual effects in any medium.

This is probably the most disturbing depiction of a universe vanishing, just silently spaghettifying as if it entered a black hole

This scene was so masterfully shot with its unique camera angles and how everything just unravels, spinning like the record that’s playing. The song choice is also on point with its somber/nihilistic tone.

Her fault sure but still feels bad to see her lose the only universe she’s ever called home ever since she’s been running as a kid.

The scene is followed by the bar scene. In that bar scene people were focusing on Loki’s perspective. How lonely and desperate he was when he told Sylvie “I want my friends back. I don’t want to be alone.” “But without them, where do I belong?” Loki talked about the TVA. He talked about friends. Yet in regard to Sylvie he only called her out for her selfishness. If you look at the bar scene and think it in Sylvie’s perspective. They never talked about how Sylvie felt. From this scene you can tell that conversation still bothers Sylvie. I am guessing that Sylvie deep down still has a feeling for Loki. But at the time, Loki was fully focused on saving the TVA. Sylvie probably felt neglected and hurt. You can tell that she not only disagreed with Loki, she also looked sad. The show stresses on how lonely Loki felt, but not so much on how lonely Sylvie felt. Maybe Sylvie still wants to spend time with Loki. It is just that Loki‘s support for TVA made Sylvie felt betrayed and that triggered her defense mechanism. Hence she acts aggressive around Loki. It’s such a bittersweet story to this point. They led each other to a new life, developed feelings for each other, but at the end of the day they weren’t on the same page.

could you imagine this is how it all ends/unfolds just everything everywhere all at once. no place to hide, even your shadow wants to hide but can't.

Season 2 ended me
And this scene in particular took me months before I could ever be able to watch it again

People don’t realize but Sylvie was also time slipping in this scene. Look at 0:43. The person who walks through the door was Sylvie moments ago before she sat down on the couch.

Guess the timelines screwed up the placement of songs on the record, since "Oh! Sweet Nuthin' " should have been at the end of the record rather than where Sylvie placed the Stylus which is "Head Held High" but hey im just nitpicking 😂

I came here after watching the episode... This scene was just perfect, the speed, the music, the angles, the expressions on Sylvie's face 👏🏼 everything meant something and I really felt it.

I’ve been trying to figure out what this song was for months and why it was stuck in my head. I finally found it. And boy it was worth it. No wonder it’s from my favorite show.
