What a performance by Novak at the age of 36! Now, everyone should just take a deep breath and think how hard this is at his age!
He is a different kind of a beast from all other tennis players, he is of his own kind! A mental giant and a great Master!
No matter if you support him or not, all of us should put our hats off and admire his greatness!
And yeah, sorry for the Alcaraz cramps, but it is a matter of someone's physical state and preparations done. It was too tough match for Alcaraz and that's why it happened. Will be better, he is young. He will have a great future. Now, hats off to Novak!

Novak has had countless battles throughout his career, he's physically and mentally hardened by it. Obviously, he also had to battle hassle crowds all over the world as well which makes him even more admirable! And his childhood was a horror show with war and bombing. The media does a hit job on him and his family whenever they get the opportunity! It's mindboggling that someone with so many disadvantages can succeed and be so great against all odds!

What a masterclass from Djoko. The level he achieves at 36 year olds is insane.

We have to admit Djokovic has an insane physical for having 36 years old. With a player against him in a match you have to play in the limit of your physical conditions and Alcaraz suffered the consequences.
It was a pity because the match was having an amazing rythm in the second set.

It’s a marvel to see how he’s maintained such a high level up to the age of 36.

If Djokovic gives the second set to you - don't take it, it is the second trap.

Alcaraz was physically pushed to the limit and couldn't resist, this too is part of the match not just the game

Novak has been treating his body and soul better than any other tennis player, better than most people. First two sets were intense for both. Carlos was pushing his body more than he could handle. Novak was also on the edge, but right there we can see what treatment each one of these champions are giving to their bodies. Novak has learnt that over the years, and Carlos needs to recognize when to slow. It is incredible what kind shots he manages to return into opponents field, but to be honest I dont think all of them matters that much. He is like that fastest dog in the park who will always catch the ball first even though he might break his own neck catching it :D
Maybe that was part of Novak's tactic, to try exhaust him as much as he can.
Huge respect for Carlos for not surrendering, and walking over. He didnt want to diminish Novak's apparent victory, even though it feels like it is diminished with this outcome.
As every other tennis fan, I was hoping to see 5 hours battle, and Carlos is not quite there yet. He is demolishing pretty much every other player on tour within 3 hours TOP. But not Novak. And that is the reason why this victory Novak should celebrate like it lasted 5 hours.
Cheers everyone!

Novak is playing all the career against his opponents, against the judges (chair umpires and line judges), against the crowd and last years against politicians throughout the World and he was forbidden to compet at several Grand Slams! And besides all that, he is the GOAT! And just besides but because of all that, beating all of them - he showed that he is undesputed GOAT!

Didn’t expect Novak to go through honestly. Up until the injury it was a fantastic match. You still got to win it though after that. So respect to Novak.

I reckon meeting Djokovic in a semi-final five-set grinder is the ultimate test in sport - both mentally as well as physically.
It is what separates the men from the boys.

Alcaraz è un grandissimo tennista, e sicuramente tra pochi anni avrà fatto il vuoto dietro di sé...ma per il momento c'è ancora uno di quei tre che per un ventennio ha praticato un altro sport
Complimenti a entrambi, forza Nole

i played tennis and always thought Federere is the geatest cause of his initial dominance and ease in playing, just not from earth. But the consistency, constance, unbelievable mind power, dedication, self belief and anything else you can mention shown by Djokovic since around 25 yo is objectively something from another world. He changed my ind, he is the greatest.
