She really was a prodigy. She not only took direction and followed step, but she added her own emotive flair. It goes beyond her years and beyond human talent itself. Truly a divine gift, and we are humbled to be a witness to her charms. Rest in Peace, our Captain Curls. <3

Im so happy that these movies are still available to watch. Its great to see so many actors in their younger days. Absolutely loved Shirley Temples movies but always felt so sorry for her at such a young age. Thank you for sharing.

My grandmother loved Shirly Temple. When I was a teenager, she bought the collection on VHS tape. I never really paid much attention to the movies. Now, I do appreciate them far more. Thank you.

This is my favorite movie of all the movies she made. The ending makes me so happy 😊. I am so happy that Star got to be with Captain January at the end. It was funny when Captain saw Mrs. Croft on the ship and she told him she was the cook. RIP Shirley Temple you were such a great actress. She was so adorable when she was young. Thank you You Tube for showing this movie.

My grandmother bought this film for us on VHS, she had all her movies. I was probably one of the few 90’s kids that even knew who Shirley Temple was. I always loved the tattoo scene where Capt. January made the mermaid dance and they showed off their tattoos. For some reason I thought of that scene today and thankfully found the movie on here.

I have always loved Shirley Temple, so much talent. My mum and I used to watch together. My mum's favourite was Deanna Durbin though.

How could a little kid that young memorize all those lines & have so much patience with dancing, etc? Plus, she was so darn cute!

❤I remember watching Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farms, when I was 5 years old. I never knew I had seen it before until she started singing the first song, then I got flashbacks of memory🤗🤗, funny how your mind does that😃. My mom always would say things like Shirley Temple, would say, and it wouldn't hit a cord with me, but watching these movies of her, brought it all back, like I was sitting in front of our old black and white TV, watching her tap dance. I don't know how many time's I asked if I could have tap dancing lessons.😊 And I'm 74!! Just thinking about those day's makes me smile and makes me feel younger again. God Bless her talented little heart. And Bless those that were smart enough to see her talent and have it filmed for those of us that need a boost in our day now and then.❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊
