Any way to make it so each user can only add one line to the data base and not infinite?

How to remove/hide that edit button once the user has filled-in at least one field in a form? The problem with the edit button is that it creates a new row of data in the collection table which I don't want. I want a member to have to create and edit their own 'single' row of data in the collection. I hope you can understand my issue. :/

*BIG QUESTION* I am STILL working on a database driven web site ( it is not a Members website nor subscription service ) Customer will come enter data into a DATA FORM and before the data can be submitted into the DATA BASE they must make a payment for that service and they go to my paypal payment ONCE PAYMENT IS CONFIRMED THEN THE DATA IS SUBMITED INTO THE DATA BASE . Is this Yet Possible with WIX or are we still years more down the road before WIX will allow such a process for Business owners to utilize

Great vid! How do I setup this member's page so the website members (users) can add their info but the other members can only see it (not edit it) ? Thanks!

We are trying to create a read and write page for our members like this so each member can enter and submit and then come back and edit their info later. We have set the read and write for candidates with the filter if owner is signed in. It works for our main account but when other members log in and try to submit it doesn’t work and no confirmation is shown (and data doesn’t get saved)

This works for me in preview however the published site does not update the data (No success message) when submit
