I’ve been seeking for years have been to opiates and benzodiazepines. I lost memory of a whole weeks time and am 2 weeks influenced by anything. Amazing things are happening to the body and the hermetically the gnostic text and Buddhist teachings are flowing through. I am struggling with an old addiction that has returned after 20 years, an addiction to prescription pain killers, I must remind myself that although it feels like I am losing everything, it is not true. I can practice my self care, meditation, focusing inward on my eternal spirit, etc and help turn away from the pills. It's just an altered state of the brain's ability to clearly reflect the Divine Spirit, it's not my Spirit itself that's affected. Yes?
