I love how this turned out, giving the animals a second chance. It brought a year to my eye. My cat was hit by a car recently and was killed, so hearing this was bittersweet because I would love to have him back. He was a big (some would say chunky) beautiful, completely black cat and only three years old. I love that in the story he is advised to let the mountain lion out to hunt at night, just like a regular moggie🐱
