Patch Notes: 3.0

• Main Story Extended: Part of the new features are related to the main storyline, therefore to avoid spoilers, they will not be published here.
• Sub-House Management: Players can now create and manage sub-houses under their own faction. Players will have to maintain diplomatic relations not only with their own faction but also with sub-houses. 8 main sub-faction diplomatic decisions have been added to the game.
• Soldier Train Camp Added: Players can now quickly level up 4 soldiers by sending them to the training camp via the barracks at the main station.
• AI Faction Intelligence Improved: AI faction artificial intelligence has been enhanced with new features.
• AI Wars Added: AI factions can now engage in wars with each other. Players and their factions can directly influence these wars. Players can participate in AI vs AI wars individually or with their faction and change the course of the battle.
• Faction Wars Balanced: Faction wars are now more challenging.
• Support Buildings Activated in Faction Wars: Capturing and holding support buildings can change the course of the war.
• New Crew Members Added.
• Ground Combat AI Improved: The artificial intelligence for ground combat has been improved (still under development, but smarter than before).
• Texture and Overlays Optimized: Many poor-looking textures have been updated.
• AI Facial Morphs and Dialogue Animations Improved: AI characters' lips now move in sync with the dialogue text.
• Planet Landing and Surface Loading System Improved: It is now more performance-optimized and less bug-ridden. This should also fix bugs related to mission areas not spawning on the planet's surface.
• General Game Optimization: Projectiles, effects (especially explosion effects), shadows, and high frame rate animations have been optimized to prevent crashes due to performance issues.
• Diplomatic News Tab Added: Players can now follow diplomatic news and wars from the diplomacy interface.
• Landing Port Added for Player Faction Stations, Motherships, and Capital Ships.
• New Soundtracks by TrapMusic Industry: 2 new environmental music tracks (for guilds and some stations) have been added. Many thanks to them!
• 2 New Basic Features Added: However, they are surprises to be revealed in the main storyline :)

After 600 hours spent with this game as a beta tester and EA, I dare say that I know this game very well :). Game still have bugs but developer is in close contact with community and patch comming regulary. (wish big developer will do this same)
In my humble opinion, it's not much worse than AAA titles. And the biggest advantage is that the game is UNIQUE.
You have your own factions. You train soldiers and fight with them in battles.
You set tactics to conquer systems (still in development)
Because I didn't expect any game to replace Freelancer or Frontier Elite (the new one didn't appeal to me).
This game has this magic and has replaced those games for me.
If you don't like singleplayer games (I love it. I don't waste my time on a pointless mmo) then you should check this game out.
Battles on land and in the sky. The number of ships and weapons is satisfactory. Each ship model has its own stats and each of them is unique, has its own perks and stats. And if that wasn't enough, each ship has its own TIERS (0-4). Ships are more powerful as you level up you have access to new and better ones. There are hundreds of them (sometimes you have to visit a few nice stations to find the right one.
Space combat - 4 types of weapons - shield (several different types), armor (several types), rockets (several missiles to choose from), torpedoes (several missiles to choose from)
Modules - each ship has a different set of modules and you will surely find something for yourself.
Consumable modules - from recharging the shield to an energy injection or cooling.
Perks - each ship has a maximum of 3 perks - there are several of them from the clock device to cool the guns. a good ship has perks that you will use.

Exploration - A unique object finding system. This phase is still being developed at EA. But it has great potential.
