I'm sure most of my ancestors did. They mostly came from Maryland and pretty much in the order you described. First of all my Anglo-American ancestors, Mudds, Blandfords, then the Irish, Colvins, Rineys, and more. Only My GG O'Connor branch came up from New Orleans. They all settled in the north central Kentucky areas and then moved into Indiana & beyond. Thanks for posting the video.

One of my ancestors crossed over at Cumberland Gap. William Voyles talked about some of the difficulties transporting all he owned. He crossed the Ohio River then worked his way eventually Salem Indiana.

the Nathez Trace was along the MS River coming back from down river trips. Do you know the name of the trace between KY and Tn that was used? Or am I mistaken
