My wife just got me this for my birthday and I like to watch a good review before digging into a high-end piece like a Hot Toys release.

I thought his live-action debut was brilliant, especially with how he antagonized DP throughout. I love Cable, even in the comics.

3:14 Cables pistol he uses in the movie is a Walther PPQ Match Grade, which comes from the factory with the slightly extended barrel and slide for better accuracy. (Fun fact the trigger should be blue, the match grade guns walther makes all come with a blue trigger as blue is their company color)

while this one that comes with the figure is not branded you can still see the outline of the where the Walther logo would be on slide of the gun.

Thank you for the well balanced review of this figure. Other "content creators" gave this version of Cable a lot of hate. However, I love this version of Cable and it will go perfectly with my Deadpool 2 figure.

Call me crazy.. but this figure hits on all cylinders for me. I love the light up eye. Even in the movies it was very faint, but looked super cool with his shield. And this video sealed the deal. Just pre-ordered this today. Thanks Justin. Great review as always!

Very fair review! I’m sure a lot of ppl were reluctantly looking forward to this review. This figure isn’t for me, personally, but I hope those who were looking forward to this figure feel a little better after watching this. The pistol is a Walther Q5 Match. I work at a gun store and sell those quite a bit. The hot toys version is pretty good but the trigger should be blue, but in all it’s a good representation in sixth scale. Love watching the videos!

Had mine prepaid for ages & because of your review I'm going to go ahead and keep that preorder. One thing I wish they would have included was the shemagh neck scarf he wore at the end of the film though. I'll have to source a decent 1/6 version from somewhere (hopefully in the same color.)

Cable's sidearm is a Walther PPQ Q5 Match pistol. Yes, that disc is not a mine. It is a grenade. Despite all of the flaws and negative criticism that this figure has received, it still looks like a great piece and I can't wait to get my copy in hand.

5:36 if you pause it, and comparing the guns the toys era BFG is more accurate as it has all the proper brand markings on the gun, the Big “V” is an actual logo used on real Kriss Vectors.
