Dette Iso Nymph

Our tying series continues with the Dette Isonychia Nymph, tied by Seth Cavarretta. This pattern, originally designed by Walt, uses natural materials like ostrich herl, muskrat, and partridge to replicate the active nature of the insect. Walt liked for the pattern to be fished deep, so a few turns of lead or lead substitute are added to the underbody, ensuring that the fly will penetrate the water column quickly. It is equally effective when fished on a dead drift, or with a more animated approach when swung down and across, through multiple feeding lanes. Enjoy!

Average fly tying with the bloody noise ( music ? ? ) it is best to delete this completely, when you go fishing how many rocks and plastic bags do you throw in the water ?
