There are horror movie villains that scare me because it’s a horror movie and that’s what they’re meant to do.
Anton Chigur is the scariest villain in a movie because that’s something a person could actually be. I’m not going to run into Jason or Meyers on the street, but I can run into an Anton Chigur

I like to picture these psychologists in a giant meeting hall just binge watching the 400+ movies and discussing and diagnosing them like a book club

No slight to Javier Bardem because he was fantastic in this film, but the real credit for depicting a psychopath should go to Cormac McCarthy, the writer of the novel from which the film was made. The Coen Brothers adapted this to screen as close to perfect as you can get. It practically doesn't deviate whatsoever from McCarthy's story. Top marks for all involved, but it's really the character as McCarthy had written him. That said, Bardem absolutely NAILS it!
