Lyrics:
Ah! Ah!
Ah! Ah!
We come from the land of the ice and snow
From the midnight sun, where the hot springs flow
The hammer of the gods will drive our ships to new land
To fight the horde and sing, and cry
Valhalla, I am coming
On we sweep with with threshing oar
Our only goal will be the western shore
Ah! Ah!
Ah! Ah!
We come from the land of the ice and snow
From the midnight sun, where the hot springs flow
How soft your fields, so green
Can whisper tales of gore
Of how we calmed the tides of war
We are your overlords
On we sweep with threshing oar
Our only goal will be the western shore
So now you'd better stop and rebuild all your ruins
For peace and trust can win the day, despite of all your losing

My guy looks like the love child of Eddie Izzard and Anthony Smith (MMA fighter), while sounding like a chorus of raging sirens! Brilliant stuff!

This lead singer is Michael Cuneo, he has great talent.
He was in the original cast of the Jersey Boys, saw them here in Chicago approximately 10 years ago, he was gifted with great vocals, he’s amazing!

As soon as the vocals started I formed massive goosebumps and the hairs on my body stood at attention and stayed there for the entirety of the song! This cover ROCKS! 🤘

My jaw dropped when he hit that first note. WHERE DID YOU FIND HIM?

PS: After listening to this a few times already, can I please ask for that Soundgarden cover now? I believe y'all have the perfect candidate for Jesus Christ Pose. Pretty please, good people.

Seriously that's the most feminine and masculine dude I've ever seen... such a bad ass vocalist and whole band. The intensity is quite impressive.

That is the most effortlessly intense vocals I've seen. Well done.

From Kashmir to Immigrant that Voice just gets better and better! Of course, the band is UNBELIEVABLE. From a a life life long head banger that says a lot! SUPERB JOB!

A story from someone who comes from the place where the people from the "land of ice & snow" came to conquer....

In the 1970's, it's little known fact, that the UK & Iceland actually went to war over cod fishing rights.

To re-establish relations after, the UK sent *Zepp, * in their full pomp, on a cultural exchange of Iceland & we got some traditional Icelandic dancers in return!

This song was written about Iceland & the Vikings that invaded the UK from there during that tour!
