In this tutorial I show you how I apply a Blinking Conditional Formatting to a cell that starts blinking if a condition is met and stops blinking when the condition is gone.

Great video. I would recommend to your viewers to use a named range for your totals comparison cells so as transactions are added the code would still work.

One thing I'd do about cell D1. Add a macro button over it, with a text, such as "Stop Blinking." The macro attached to the button would type the "1" for you. That way, all you need to do is use your mouse to click on the button instead of going to D1, typing in a "1" and then hitting enter. You could even add a macro if statement to it, saying if there is a 1 already there, to delete it. So you can go back and forth.
