Feeling hungry? UConn has an endless array of options that includes eight dining halls, the Student Union Marketplace, cafés, restaurants, and a food truck. All of our dining halls offer kosher and hallal menu options, along with a variety of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free meals. No matter your preferences, there's always something for you. And when you’re ready for dessert, the UConn Dairy Bar serves up some of the best ice cream you can find. It’s so popular that alumni are known to have it shipped around the world! Riley swears by the black raspberry. With awards for everything from our ice cream to vegan recipes to leading the way in sustainable dining, UConn Dining Services does an excellent job at filling in for the food from back home.
