It happened the same way to me too. Except my lenovo tablet can't survive from lags and my lenovo chromebook can't survive from lags that's in a server where there are multiple and more objects bunched up together. Somehow It's not the wifi, but my devices don't have enough room from lags.

There's one small issue, roblox hosts their servers on Amazon AWS (a stinky service for hosting), that's why most of the time they have no control over their own servers, and they'd raher keep crashing than making their own physical servers

y'know, at some point when preston updates pet sim x, it would feel like hes trying to force roblox to upgrade their servers so they can atleast handle a single update from pet sim x lol
