It’s basically a sentient ai trying to prevent you from reaching the Crystal by tricking you into going to fake doors and using the HQ guy’s voice to lead you off the right path. If you happen to encounter the p.ai.nter in person (which is rare), it’ll basically give you an explanation as to why it’s trying to stop you! The lore of this game is really good, I definitely recommend looking into it more :)

It's basically like the normal enemy, except it doesn't kill you as the name implies

It's just a cloud of smoke with a muffled noise, basically a fake out. And it's very rare

25:15 the reason HQ told you to go right is because entities can sometimes hijack it. Eyefestation can do the same thing and make HQ tell you to look into its eyes. If HQ starts giving you directions, don’t trust it.

heres how to counter all the entities dont scroll down if you dont wanna know how they work:


































Angler:
angler is basically rush from doors nothing special
Squiddles:
dont stand next to them for too long neither shine a light at them
Eyefestation:
look away resist it's pull you can enrage and make eyefestation stronger by flashing him with flash beacon he will be red colored version if you flash him again he will go purple (purple is the furthest u can go on eyefestation)
wall dweller:
after opening a door look at the wall to see if a figure is going through the wall. if u dont see one or were too late after opening a door and going in the next room, look at it and it will run. it can also come back after someone looks at him to give the player false sense of security
Pandemonium:
if you get in a locker before or even after pandemonium screams you will be put into an easy (in my opinion) minigame where you have to keep your mouse in the middle
Void Mass Puddle:
just look for any colored eyes in the locker and you will be able to detect it after detecting, just dont enter the locker
Turret:
if detected by a turret hide behind a solid object which is basically anything like: walls, vents, tables, lockers (no need to enter it) you can pull the level to disable it. but theres 1 room that u CANT disable which dawko was in
Sebastian Solace:
Sebastian Solace (More like sebastian Shoelace or SoLAZY) is somewhat friendly just dont climb or flash him with flash beacon and your fine (dont let his insults get the best of you)
Good People:
just hear growling behind doors or dont open doors that are lit in the dark or if the door has a digital line on it and your good to go
SearchLights:
just dont stay in the orange lights, solid objects can stop it from catching you so hide under things
Froger:
froger is an angler varient that loves to catch people off guard it can rebound up to 3 times and its always 3 times but its random when he will rebound sometimes it will take his sweet time or sometimes he will just.. zoom by 3 times
Chainsmoker:
its basically angler but very slow (you still cant outrun it) and you also have to perfectly time entering the locker cause chainsmoker makes you get out of the closet faster
Mirage:
mirage is an invisible angler, a locker isnt needed as it does 0 damage and is a troll entity just stay near locker incase its actually an angler and not mirage
Styx:
he does 0 dmg only does emotional damage to both jack from doors and to the player Styx is only made to point fun at jack cause of his cheap jumpscares

Also, quick tip, using the flash beacon against eyefeshtation makes him go away for the rest of the run. Enjoy!

Fun fact: With how many references there is in Pressure, this is likely intentional

It might seem scary to use the flashlights in the dark because of the squiddles, but they only attack if you shine it directly on them. A tip is to shine the light at the floor so you can still see, but not directly ahead so you hit one.

The flash beacon is also helpful against them, but I won’t spoil why.

For some background,
There are 3 intercom voices
HQ, Sebastian, and P.ai.nter.
HQ (27:32) is the voice you hear during certain events, i.e. door 0, before the big orange guy, and at the end of the game.
Sebastian is the shop guy and the death screen guide, pretty self explanatory.
and P.ai.nter (25:19) is one of the “antagonists” whose lore is built on once you met him face to face.
