🔴 Live Coding: MiniClient Tutorial
In this live session, I walk through the first part of the MiniClient tutorial — a hands-on introduction to how we build and scale large real-world mobile applications in Flutter.

During this stream I code through the tutorial, explain design decisions, answer live questions, and go beyond the basics with additional tasks. If you’ve ever wondered how to structure a scalable Flutter app for long-term growth — this is a great place to start!

The MiniClient tutorial is a 6-part Medium series built like a codelab. We use a toy app powered by the Marvel API (yes, superheroes!) to demonstrate enterprise-level practices — from utilities to features, navigation, and testing. While the sample app is simple, the architecture reflects a solid production-ready approach.

Hi, I recently interviewed for the Flutter SDE-3 role at Tide. The browser-based VS Code editor caused significant issues—no code suggestions, no compile-time error visibility, and frequent lag. As an Android Studio user, adapting to this tool took time, and I wasn’t allowed to use my local IDE. Most of my time was spent fixing tool-related problems instead of focusing on solving the coding task. Despite solid preparation, these issues affected my performance and led to rejection. I kindly request you to allow candidates to use their preferred local IDE in future interviews.
Thank you for considering this feedback.
