In January and February we sometimes get overnight freezes. Thus the heater. I have three of them. Be sure the room has a bit of ventilation and turn it off before sleeping.

What a beautiful place your staying , wonderful views pretty home, gorgeous shots of the flowers, but that large Caterpillar sure was unusual?
So nice you have a friend to spend time with.
The little island was darling and the dancing for the old was very interesting with the wooden sandels, I've never seen that before.
The little market had some pretty dresses and blouses.
I use to work in a shop that sold items from Mexico and Guatemala.
I wish I would have bought a blouse with the heavy embroidery .
In New Mexico the Mexican people celebrated Day of the Dead and I watched a lot of their dances.

What a delightful day you two had! Jorge and I went to Janitzio when we spent a few days in Pátzcuaro back in 2019. The twisty, curvy trek up to the top of the island is deceiving, isn't it? :-) But one finally makes it. Jorge used to do the dance of the little old men when he was a professional ballet folklórico dancer in Mexico City ... later he taught it to his elementary school students in Dallas.
