Track 10 from their thirteenth album “Goats Head Soup” released in 1973 copyright Rolling Stones Records. It was recorded at Dynamic Sound in Kingston, Jamaica and mixed at Village Recorders in L.A. and Island Studios in London. It received mixed reviews and some critics saw it as the beginning of the band’s decline, since it had a slightly different feel compared to their previous string of four hugely successful albums. I consider it one of their best with very strong material that captures a specific period in time which was carefree and full of promise for the future, so it’s like an old friend. Mick has said that he poured his heart into this album, which strongly influenced its musical style and direction. Keith and producer Jimmy Miller had recently become less productive due to the worsening effects of their heroin addictions. The album reached No. 1 in eight countries and made the Top Ten in another four. It achieved Gold status in a month and was certified 3X Platinum in 2000. Written by Mick Jagger & Keith Richards and produced by Jimmy Miller. RIP Anthony “Rebop” Kwaku Baah, Ian Stewart, Jimmy Miller, Nicky Hopkins, Billy Preston, Bobby Keys & Charlie Watts. Featuring:

Baby, baby, I been so sad since you been gone
Way back to New York City where you do belong
Honey, I miss your two-tone kisses, legs wrap around me tight
If I ever get back to Fun City, girl, gonna make you scream all night

Honey, honey, call me on the telephone
I know you're movin' out to Hollywood with your can of tasty foam
All those beat-up friends of mine got to get you in their hooks
And lead guitars and movie stars will get their tongue beneath your hood

Yeah, and you're a (star fucker, star fucker, star fucker, star fucker, star) yeah
(A star fucker, star fucker, star fucker, star fucker, star)
(A star fucker, star fucker, star fucker, star fucker, star)

Yeah, I heard about your Polaroids and that's what I call obscene
Your tricks with fruit is kinda cute, I bet it keep your pussy clean
Honey, I miss your two-tone kisses, legs wrap around me tight
If I ever get back to New York, girl, gonna make you scream all night

Yeah, you're a (star fucker, star fucker, star fucker, star fucker, star) yeah
(Star fucker, star fucker, star fucker, star fucker, star)
(Star fucker, star fucker, star fucker, star fucker, star)
Yes you are, yes you are, yes you are

Yeah, Ali McGraw got mad with you for givin' head to Steve McQueen
Yeah, you and me, we made a pretty pair fallin' through the silver screen
Honey, I'm open to anything, I don't know where to draw the line
Yeah (I'm makin' bets that you gonna get John Wayne before he dies)

Yeah, you're a (star fucker, star fucker, star fucker, star fucker, star) woo, yeah
(A star fucker, star fucker, star fucker, star fucker, star)
(A star fucker, star fucker, star fucker, star fucker, star)
Yes you are, you're a
(Star fucker, star fucker, star fucker, star fucker, star) ah, yeah, yeah
(A star fucker, star fucker, star fucker, star fucker, star) yeah, yeah
(A star fucker, star fucker, star fucker, star fucker, star) woo, yeah
(A star fucker, star fucker, star fucker, star fucker, star) yes you are (star fucker, star fucker, star fucker, star)
(Fucker, star fucker, star fucker, star fucker, star fucker)
Yes you are, yes you are
Ah, yeah

So this is inspired by "Your So Vain" by Carly Simon in which he sang uncredited background? That's so 70s rock.
