King of the Hill - The Complete Series DVD and Blu-Ray Collection

A look at the complete series of King of the Hill on DVD and Blu-Ray. With the release of the thirteenth and final season on DVD and Blu-Ray, this entire series is available in its' entirety. In this video, I show each season that I own so you know what it looks like if you're considering purchasing any of these. No word yet if there will ever be a complete series box set of any kind, but I am hoping that someone will put out something that is housed in a propane tank-shaped case because I think that would be just awesome. But even if that doesn't happen, I don't really care because we have every season available now and that's all that's important. Thanks to Olive Films for releasing the final seasons of this show!

Also a small aside but Season 1 is technically only 12 episodes, this is because the episode "The Company Man" originally aired on FOX as part of season two even though it has a first season production number and was held over despite being intended for broadcast in the latter's run. That is why they tacked it onto the first set even though it did not actually air during that season, and all subsequent re runs include it as part of the second season.

Almost finished with collecting the series, i only have seasons 12 and 13 to go so at long last my KOTH collection will be complete.

I picked up the bound together set of seasons 1-4 at Wal-Mart recently to get them in this more compact packaging, and i plan to get the other seasons eventually probably through Amazon or somewhere. Previously i only had the first and fourth seasons in the old box set packaging, but now this had given me a good jump start on collecting the entire series.

That bundled set for $20 was quite a deal i must say.

The Complete First and Second Seasons were originally released in 2003. The Complete Third Season was originally released in 2004. The Complete Fourth and Fifth Seasons were originally released in 2005 and The Complete Sixth Season was originally released in 2006. All six of them were re-issued in 2010 in regular DVD cases, as the first six originally came in box sets.

I actually bought my two seasons at the same time but you're definitely right about that besides I got to put aside money for other titles I want to get like the complete series sets of nick shows released by shout factory or my biggest priority title the Star Wars saga is one collection I'm trying to complete.

Finally got the last two of the Fox released sets recently, albeit in the original boxset version with thin packs (instead of the re released standard cases J has here which i've got for the first four) of seasons five and six. Along with the first of the Olive Films releases which now puts me at the halfway point of owning the entire series. That makes seven seasons down and just six more to go as of now. It's a gradual work in progress, but i'm happy to be that much closer to having all the episodes given it's one of my most favorite animated shows.
