Undoubtedly the best live album from an era when there were loads of classics being released (Skynyrd, Lizzy, ACDC, Frampton). Raw and rough but this opener still sends shivers down my spine. I was lucky enough to be at the Apollo on the night of the recording so maybe I'm prejudiced. 😃😃😃😃😃

Status Quo at the Apollo was the first album I bought. I have played that album so many times and still play it on and off today. Great music!!

Saw them at the legendary Swing Auditorium in 1976. For some unknown reason we didn't know that they were going to be there until right before they took the stage when a friend with binoculars (whom always seemed to have primo reefer) said it's "Status Quo"....they did a great short set. Robin Trower (Bridge of Sighs) headlined. It was awesome. Yep, those were the days.

He is the sweetest, adorable human being, with a very soft and gentle voice.
