That was a VERY bold cover choice (for anyone listening to this, Deftones has LAYERS of complexity that appear/sound simple to the untrained musician/ear, but it is actually very nuanced and difficult to achieve the sound they produce) . . . and as someone who grew up listening to Deftones as their #1, I will say: You definitely made it distinct while respecting the source. Thank you for that. I can hear the appreciation this band has for Deftones in their cover and that made me very glad to have experienced it :) Thank you~!
