S.H.Figuarts Itachi Uchiha Narutop99 Edition Review

So out of 4.6 million votes picked from an extensive gallery of characters, uchiha Itachi, konohas secret hero was ranked second place just behind Minato in the Narutop 99 popularity pole.
A worldwide popularity contest to vote for the most popular Naruto characters from the original Manga. The winner, Minato, was featured in a one shot manga drawn by Kishimoto. And The top 20 characters were featured in a special group shot portrayed slightly different to how they appeared in the manga wielding very cool additions to their usual arsenal of weapons! Naruto got a flag, Sasuke got a Chidori bow and arrow, and Sakura got a giant axe, and Itachi, out man for todays review recieved a rather uninspiring but still cool looking katana!
Sh Figuarts Narutop 99 uchiha Itachi was released on the 31st of August as a regular release and retails for about 9000 yen or about 70 USD depending on where you pick it up!

Sasuke is the only left handed character in Naruto that I’m aware of. He’s obviously ambidextrous as he uses the sword in his right hand but he uses chidori almost exclusively in his left hand. And when the SO6P had him and Naruto present their dominant hands he presented his left.

Imo Minato is still the best of the Narutop99 line, it might be because he´s my favorite character. But, having fabric cloth is really A LOT better than the materials used in Obito and Minato. That itachi figure is incredible

my biggest issue is that I wish the collar on the cloak was a little taller since I think it’s at eye level. Also a hat and a crow would’ve put this over the top. I’m just hoping tamashii nations makes a black flames effect

it's disappointing that we dont get a separate scabbard for the sword. other than that it seems like a good figure.

@eightysixedreviews is Back!, Itachi the True Hokage!, this automatically is my 2nd favorite Naruto shippuden figuarts with Kakashi Regular and Top99 Kakashi being 1st then Obito being third which ironically are my top 3 naruto characters!, still not feeling the cloth goods but I guess there was no other way since if they made that a soft rubbery plastic I can see the paint chopping off after a couple years.

Weird that he comes with half drawn Sheath Katana and not Katana With a Sheath which is a bummer lol, plus they can saves money/budget if Bandai make Katana that can be inserted in the sheath like they do with SHF Trunks from Dragonball.Bandai Is now Weird lol

ngl I was super excited for this, but lets be honest, for 90 bucks this figure is fairly disappointing barely any accessories and a terrible bloated cloak. It just looks like he has a puffy jacket on and there are custom ones online that are WAY better. I'm now really nervous for pain cuz its gonna have the same cloak.
