Artist Biography: Cork band MINDRIOT to unveil debut single "Fire"
Cork band MINDRIOT have confirmed they will unveil their debut single "Fire" which will be released on Saturday 26th April at "An Bodhran" in Mitchelstown, Co. Cork.
MINDRIOT originally formed in 1992 and were influenced by bands of the time ranging from Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins, Metallica, KerbDog, CycleFly and everything in between.
Being very close childhood friends, over the years MINDRIOT
have broken up, gotten back together, loved each other, hated each other and have done all the things you envisage a rock band to have done which is reflected honestly in their music. The members of MINDRIOT (Tony Gorry -- Vocals/Lead
Guitar, Mike Hoye -- Rhythm Guitar, Liam O'Rourke -- Bass and Steven Bartak -- Drums) have amassed a vast amount of experience from playing at Oxygen Music Festival to supporting such acts as The Stunning, Juliet Turner, Bagatelle, Jack L
to name a few.
MINDRIOT's plans for 2014 include completing their Debut EP with accomplished engineer and producer Ciaran O'Shea ("Cyclefly" fame) and plans for a national tour which will be announced shortly.
