Been playing GTA IV again recently, got nostalgic for it and became inspired to make this.

having recently played gta 4 many many many times, the best detail in this whole video is probably the logos zooming in at the start, a truly near-identical zooming-in recreation

I'm glad this start up sequence has become somewhat of a popular meme as of late. GTA IV is a great game and I hope it makes people play it again. Plus the intro is just awesome.

Looking at this, I once again got struck with a surreal realisation that (most of) these models and environments are something Valve officially created for an official Half-Life game after more than ten years since the last one.

And it's even more surreal to see familiar designs in a new form.
