So sad over Ray Stevenson 😞 I didn't anticipate it from the trailers, but WOW, his character is so intriguing every scene he's in. It won't be the same without him, but I still lovvvve all the mythology, and can't wait for more to be explored!!

Ray Stevenson will be hard to replace. He had a great presence, and he was the most intriguing character to appear in any SW property in a long while.

I wonder if we will get more of Mortis explored not only next season of Ahsoka but James Mangold’s Dawn of the Jedi. I wouldn’t be surprised if Bendu shows up next season as well.

I think the Mortis gods predate the Sith and Jedi, and probably the Nightsisters too. I think the Dathmiri started worshipping the son exclusively and became the Nightsisters.

Baylan is probably looking for the source of their power. It would be great if they finished that story line.

As great as Ray Stevenson did, the story has to take priority over any one actor. I'd like to nominate Clive Owen to take up the mantle of Baylan. He's another great actor, and is similar stature so the lightsaber technique could be similar.

The Mortis stuff is really interesting because it feels like George retconned the original meaning of "bringing balance to the force" just based on the popular conception of the term "balance." It was originally never about having equal dark and light, it was about defeating the dark (evil), which was causing disruption to the existing balance (peace through the light). In that sense, it used to be that the light side was just good, and you couldn't have too much of it.

I felt kinda robbed with Baylan this season. Especially that last scene. I get they wanted to save some things for the movie and season 2. I felt like Shin and Baylan should have gotten more screen time in that last episode.

I like that Dave takes inspection & develops stories which George intended, instead of going off the tangent.

With the focus Ahsoka has on Hyuang, I'm thinking that we will see him in those high republic movies as either an Easter Egg, or as a storytelling device, for retelling the important (and less important) events in Galactic history.

I was waiting for this video lol. The Mortis Gods arc was always interesting to me. I can't wait to see more of it. I always thought Anakin represent and has replaced the father but some say because he is dead that it isn't true. Ahsoka always represented the daughter to me because the daughter life force is inside of her. Either way very exciting stuff coming. We might get even more flashbacks of that arc if S2 is approved. Meaning more Hayden. Yay lol

gee, I just thought the sword that Ahsoka took from Morgan was another way to give her a second weapon to replace the saber that was destroyed ☺ Yeah, I can see the weapon being a dark influence on her. I am intrigued with how the Ray Stevenson situation will be resolved, I'm hoping they will recast too.

I really want Thrawn's motivation to unite the galaxy under the empire to be, to stop the incoming Yuuzhang Vong invasion. They can have them come from the galaxy that he was trapped in and somehow had an encounter with them and figure out their plan to invade the main galaxy. Because then Thrawn would be a bad-good guy. Uniting the galaxy by force to be stronger against the greater threat. Since he knows how Pacific's the republic can be during peace time therefore he knows they won't invest heavily in a military against a threat they don't know is coming. Could set up awesome massive space battles. SW is missing those capital vs capital ship engagements we all love from ep3

Wonder which side Merrin will be on, raised as a Nightsister on Dathomir, she believed herself to be the last of her order in the main galaxy, and she’s fallen in love with a Jedi and is focusing on restoring the power of the light side, will she ally with the Great Mothers? Or will she ally with the Jedi?

So many people are bashing on anything new in star wars. I grew up believing IV through VI was all, we were gonna get. I don't see why so many people are up in arms. Thanks for a solid synopsis/deeper look.
