I've seen pundits and people in the IWC say fans are gonna turn on Cody since he won the Royal Rumble the first time. It still hasn't happened and I don't even see mixed reactions. People keep singing his theme, doing the "whooah!", chanting his name, buying his merch, tuning in for his segments on TV, watching clips of his matches on all platforms... the guy is over with most WWE loyals and I think casual audiences probably like him too. He's a very good storyteller in the ring and on the mic and he can get a crowd behind him.
