Cuban Chain 3D model in Rhino 6 (2018)- Jewelry CAD Design Tutorial #26

Although we don't 3D printing chains in most case, it is important to know how to model a Cuban chain for rendering with a pendant. Lets take a look on how to model cuban links.

This video tutorial is using Rhino 3D software (Rhino 6) to create a model from scratch. The same commends can be used to create other types of chain.

A 3d designed Cuban Link isn't a Cuban Link, only hand made Cuban Links are original. Casting doesn't look the same.

Nice video. Can i ask why do we need cut link from both side at 9:27 while only one side cut on link can work to fit due to another side of the link as full metal will be placed in it. Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
