Arturia MicroFreak v2.0 firmware update - what's new?

The new firmware update announced at NAMM 2020 includes a Noise Oscillator, Chords, Scales, Sequencer Pattern copying and clearing the Modulation Matrix.

The real power of this update, shows when you combine arpeggiation with scale changes and do chorded arpegiations. The chord will arpeggiate with the current scale. I think thats a fabulous feature.

I love that chord memory function. I can really use that ! The Modes (scales) function is useful, too.

Was looking through your channel page to see if you had a video on the Modal Electronics Skulpt. I'm a new owner of it, I know Nick at SS did a good review of it, but would love to see you do a deep dive with it. I dont know what they did but actually anything sounds better, now it has a real analog type sound, not that digital as it was, now it really shines!

Thank you for this! I'm on the fence about getting the Microfreak and this makes me lean. I'm also considering the 0-Coast from Makenoise as well. I'm curious, If it were you, which one would you choose for sonic potential if you could only get one? (maybe add the Ciat-Lonbard Shnth in there too though the programming language, fish, seems daunting to me)
