How to Start Reading Friedrich Nietzsche? #nietzsche #philosophy #reading

In this video, I share my thoughts on the best way to dive into Nietzsche's philosophy through his writings. Nietzsche went through different phases in his writing career, so it's important to keep that in mind and plan your reading journey accordingly. His first and last books are completely different as if they’re not written by the same author.
Personally, I didn't start with the order I'm going to suggest here. I began with "On the Genealogy of Morals," and it was tough at first because I didn't have any background and struggled to understand his ideas. It is considered his most academic book and the hardest to understand.
After a few tries and with time, I started to get the hang of his writing style and began to appreciate it more. Over time, I've read nearly all of Nietzsche's works, which is why I want to share with you the order that I think is best for beginners who are new to Nietzsche's philosophy and want to start from scratch.
If you're interested in learning more about Nietzsche, feel free to check out my page! I've created a series of six videos on Nietzsche, where I delve into core concepts of his philosophy such as "The Death of God," "The Eternal Recurrence," "Master & Slave Morality," and more.
Reading Order:
- Daybreak
- Human All too Human
- The Gay Science
- On the Genealogy of Morals
- Beyond Good And Evil
- Thus Spoke Zarathustra
Best of luck in your journey :)
